Maggie comes from a nursing background and has over 30 years of experience in working with both children and adults. She has worked in a number of clinical settings within the NHS followed by management roles for residential homes for people with acquired brain injury, neurological conditions or other complex needs.
She has extensive experience in service delivery and project management across multi-disciplinary organisations and has a in-depth knowledge of the NHS and care services. Maggie manages both adults and children who have sustained acquired brain injury or other complex physical injuries.
Maggie commenced her training as a Nurse at Middlesex Hospital in London in 1974. Since that time she has gained further qualifications including a Degree in Health Studies from the Royal College of Nursing in 1994.
As a Case Manager, Maggie draws upon her in depth knowledge of care services, the NHS and managing multidisciplinary teams with a patient centred approach. She is a member of BABICM and regularly attends courses relevant to her role and professional development.
