Karen is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in neuro-rehabilitation and assessment, specialising in brain injury. Karen works with both children and adults and those requiring complex 24-hour care. She completed her Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1999 and her clinical specialities have included the area of neurological rehabilitation and amputee management, as well as general medical and surgical client groups.
In addition, she has developed and provided training on brain injury and other neurological conditions, to other health professionals, case managers, injured clients and their families, as well as solicitors and insurance companies.
Karen is registered with the Health Professions Council, and is a member of BABICM (British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers), British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT), College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section for Neurological Practice (SSNP), College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section – Independent Practice (COTSS-IP). She also attends the Acquired Brain Injury London Forum (ABIL) meetings.
