Charlotte joined NeuroHealth in 2021 . She is a Registered Nurse with a wealth of experience in the Health and Social Care Sectors. Her role as Registered Manager means she oversees the implementation of policies and procedures designed to promote and safeguard the welfare of the individuals we support and the support teams they employ.
Between 2012 and 2020 Charlotte was Co-owner and Director of Care Services for County Care Berkshire Ltd which is a successful home care provider in the domiciliary sector. Under Charlotte’s management she grew the company to one that delivered over 1000 hours of care per week, predominantly to private customers, but also one that has strong working relationships with Local Authorities, Commissioning Groups and Case Managers. Charlotte’s role was to ensure good governance, quality assurance systems, training, and being compliant with the Health and Social Care Act 2008. She has been involved in resolving matters around safeguarding and worked closely with external organisations relating to this. She has also worked closely with service users and their families, both to deliver care and support and in order to complete risk assessments and create care plans. She was responsible for improving medication management and administration for her organisation and for implementing new care planning technology to improve the effectiveness of planning and reporting.
Charlotte has managed a number of businesses over the years. She is both driven and motivated by the desire to deliver excellence and share best practices within the health and social care sectors. Charlotte will deliberately seek out opportunities for improvement. Over the years, she has regularly attended industry conferences and training events to enhance her skills and knowledge, which in turn have contributed to the success factor of the business and allowed her to achieve numerous good inspection outcomes. She has also been on the board of The Berkshire Care Association, representing Domiciliary Care Agencies. In addition, Charlotte remains an active Vaccinator and Supervisor for the Covid-19 and flu vaccination programme.
