Hayley has extensive experience in working with a wide range of neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, audiovestibular issues and long term neurological conditions, spanning a period of 11 years. Since qualifying as a physiotherapist from Brunel University in 2007 she has worked across adult acute and rehabilitation services at a leading teaching hospital in North Central London.

Hayley has successfully built on her experience across a range of clinical services with a particular focus on neurosurgery and working with adults following surgery to manage traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and brain tumours, which included providing post-operative exercise therapy. Hayley has also provided critical care assessments and physiotherapy services for clients with a wide range of conditions including orthopaedic trauma and an extensive range of respiratory conditions.

Since 2009, Hayley specialised in neurological physiotherapy at a highly regarded tertiary-care Neurosciences Centre. There, she gained comprehensive experience of working across acute and rehabilitation phases of recovery: from advanced assessment and treatment of adults following anoxic and traumatic brain injury for example, to working with adults with long term neurological conditions such as motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis, utilising specialist skills to address their complex needs. To achieve successful outcomes for the clients, Hayley has effectively worked with multidisciplinary teams and wide community, inter-agency networks to ensure seamless care.

In addition to her rich clinical experience, Hayley has also provided commendable contribution to new rehabilitation service development and is passionate about opportunities for continuously improving client-centred focus in care across the whole system.
